ISU-Meridian’s Kristina Blaiser honored for clinical research

MERIDIAN – Idaho State University’s School of Rehabilitation and Communications Sciences has honored associate professor Kristina Blaiser with its first Clinical Research Award for her work with children who are deaf or hard-of-hearing and their families.

Idaho State University classes cancelled Aug. 21

POCATELLO – Idaho State University has announced that classes will be cancelled the first official day of classes, Monday, Aug. 21, due to the hundreds of thousands of visitors that are expected to converge on Southeast Idaho to observe the total eclipse of the sun.

ISU Summer Theatre program to present “Fiddler on the Roof”

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s summer musical “Fiddler on the Roof” will be performed on June 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16 and 17 in the Beverly B. Bistline Theatre of the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center. All performances start at 7:30 p.m., except a matinee performance at 2 p.m. on June 8.

Fourteen eastern Idaho high school students receive $120,450 in scholarships from Idaho State University

POCATELLO – Fourteen eastern Idaho high school students will receive more than $120,450 in scholarships from Idaho State University toward their undergraduate degrees. The students learned about these scholarships through the College of Arts and Letters Road Scholars program.

ISU Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program receives reaccreditation by American Psychological Association; remains only accredited clinical psychology Ph.D. program in Idaho

POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Clinical Psychology Ph.D. program has been granted accreditation from the American Psychological Association Commission on Accreditation (APA-CoA) for seven additional years, and remains the only accredited clinical psychology Ph.D. program in the state.
