Department Advisors
The advisors listed below are the default department advisors for a major/minor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics. However, students are welcome to select any graduate faculty member, in the department, as an advisor. If selecting an alternate faculty member to serve as your advisor, the faculty member should first agree to serve as your advisor. To see who our graduate faculty members are, please visit our graduate faculty page at: Graduate Faculty
To meet with one of these advisors, please call or email to schedule a time to meet with him or her. Students must first meet with an advisor to declare a major, minor or associates degree, in the department.
In addition to individual advising sessions, each fall and spring semester our advisors hold an open advising meeting for students who are interested in a major or minor in our department or who have questions. The date and time will be posted on flyers in the department and sent out to our undergraduate mailing list. Or, you can contact one of our advisors or the department office to find out when the next meeting will be.
