ISU international student graduate Lamichhane deals with the COVID-19 Pandemic

POCATELLO – Saroj Lamichhane, an Idaho State University international student from Nepal, is about 7,500-miles from his home in Katmandu and more than 2,000 miles from his home campus in Pocatello as he finishes out his undergraduate degree in communications this spring.

POCATELLO – A total of 1,989 spring and summer graduates will receive 2,115 degrees and certificates from Idaho State University this spring; 119 students will receive multiple certificates and/or degrees.

ISU’s Emily Oliphant receives prestigious NSF Graduate Research Fellowship

POCATELLO – Idaho State University physics major Emily Oliphant, 20, who has completed her undergraduate this spring in three years, has received a three-year National Science Foundation Science Graduate Research Fellowship Program to pursue a doctoral degree at the University of Michigan.

ISU Events donates nacho chips to Benny’s Pantry, Idaho Food Bank

POCATELLO – Idaho State University Events stocked up on nacho chips for the cancelled Monster Truck Grand Nationals that were scheduled in early April in Holt, but those chips will not go to waste – 20 boxes have been donated to Benny’s Pantry and 30 to the Idaho Food Bank.

ISU computer science students volunteer to scrub laptops for Idaho students in need

POCATELLO – Three Idaho State University computer science students volunteered for United Way of Southeast Idaho and Idaho Business for Education to help scrub donated computers to distribute to Idaho students in need of a device.
