Two ISU undergraduate biology students to present at Annual Biomedical Conference for Minority Students Nov. 13-16

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Cooperative Wilderness Handicapped Outdoor Group, in conjunction with Pocatello Ski Association, Pebble Creek Junior Race Team and Pebble Creek Ski Patrol, will host the Pocatello Ski Swap on Nov. 1 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Idaho State’s fall enrollment shows positive trends and areas for improvement

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s total student enrollment headcount for the Fall 2019 Census Day was 12,425, a slight increase of 0.3 percent from the previous year. The overall positive enrollment report includes a sizeable increase in Early College (dual credit) students. The increase in dual credit enrollment offsets a multi-year decline in undergraduate degree-seeking students at Idaho State.

POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineering (IEEE) club will host a Career Exploration Series on Oct. 15 at 6 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Middle Fork Room. The purpose of this event is to expose students to different career specialties within the electrical engineering field.

POCATELLO – At its annual Hometown Hero Award Celebration last month, the JRM Foundation awarded Idaho State University art and communications student Stephen Aifegha with a $3,000 scholarship.

TWIN FALLS, ID – Idaho State University’s Madisen Merrill, a freshman  communication major, won Gold Saturday, Sept. 28, in her sixth round of Novice Parliamentary Debate at the Fran Tanner Open hosted by the College of Southern Idaho.
