Choirs from Around the World to Perform at Idaho State University

The 2023 Idaho International Choral Festival will once again feature choirs from around the world on the ISU campus July 12-16.

Idaho International Choral Festival Choir Highlight: The Tiantai Temple Buddhism Conservatory Dawn Choir from Madagascar

The Idaho International Choral Festival hosts choirs from around the world, to share the culture and community of music. Joining the festival this year is the Tiantai Temple Buddhism Conservatory Dawn Choir, a 60-voice chorus which is the first monk choir in Buddhist history.

ISU Alumna Mal Layne Takes Home 4th Place in International Trombone Competition

Idaho State University alumna Mal Layne recently competed against hundreds of individuals in the Michel Becquet International Trombone Competition in Luxembourg. Layne, the only American to make it to the semi-finals, took 4th place in the world.
