Idaho State University (ISU) is proud to announce the establishment of the Scott Anderson Legacy Endowment, a new fund dedicated to supporting students pursuing studies in music at ISU, that celebrates and honors Dr. Scott Anderson’s remarkable 30-year career at ISU.

ISU Chamber Choir Prestigious Invitation to Perform in Regional Conference
Idaho State Chamber Choir will travel to Spokane, Washing January 24-27 to perform at the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Northwest Region Conference on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Spokane’s Fox Theater.

ISU's ACDA Northwest Conference Performance Previewed in Local Holiday Concert
Idaho State Chamber Choir and ISU Treble Choir will present "Carols, Prayers, and Lullabies" on Friday, December 1 at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 309 North Garfield Avenue in Pocatello.

ISU Vocalists Excel at NATS Competition
Fifteen talented vocalists from Idaho State University (ISU) showcased their skills at the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Southeast Idaho District Student Auditions hosted by BYU-Idaho on Saturday, November 18.

ISU Alumna Mal Layne Takes Home 4th Place in International Trombone Competition
Idaho State University alumna Mal Layne recently competed against hundreds of individuals in the Michel Becquet International Trombone Competition in Luxembourg. Layne, the only American to make it to the semi-finals, took 4th place in the world.
