Prospective Students

You are considered a new freshman if you have completed your secondary education and earned a certificate of completion that enables you to be admitted to a university in your home country and is equivalent to a U.S. High School Diploma and have earned less than the equivalent of 14 U.S. credits. If you have already earned the U.S. equivalent of 14 or more credits at a post-secondary college or university, you will need to apply as an undergraduate transfer student.

Priority Dates for International Admission:

Priority dates for admission are not deadlines, but it is to your advantage to have all application materials submitted by the priority date to allow enough time to complete your visa application and other travel requirements.

Priority admission dates for international students are:

  • May 1 for Fall semester (begins in August)
  • August 1 for Spring semester (begins in January)

Summer admissions are not encouraged for students who are not familiar with the American university system.
