On behalf of the College of Science and Engineering, I would like to thank you for considering a gift to support our students.

Every gift–big or small–makes a difference in the lives of current and future students by supporting their research projects, providing opportunities for professional experiences, and much, much more. Most importantly, your gifts often fund scholarships for our students. Eight out of ten students in the College utilize some form of financial aid, and the scholarships you provide help to offset the cost of an education. 

More specifically, your gifts have a tremendous impact on our first-generation students at Idaho State University. They are often high-achieving students who just need a bit of help to ensure their academic journey ends with a degree. One thing I often think about is the generational impact a first-gen student has on not only themselves but also their families. The path to academic success these students have forged may lead to even greater accomplishments by their children and their children’s children, and on it goes.
