TAP Resource Center: Tutoring, Academic Support, and Peer Mentoring

All services offered at The TAP Center are free and highly encouraged to maximize your success!

Anyone who has taken a college class knows that the rigors of education can be overwhelming as well as frustrating. Students at the College of Technology (COT) have come to find some peace in the chaos through our TAP Center. The tutors hired here are “Grade A” in their classes. They are a phenomenal resource for struggling students as well as those who seek only a “tune up.” Students may find tutors available for all general education courses, including English, multiple levels of math, communications, and social sciences.

Students may also obtain assistance with program-specific courses. Student success and pride in achievement are the utmost priority. Student needs are recognized and met with enthusiasm.

For further information about getting a tutor or becoming one, contact the TAP Center at 282-3208 or email Ellie Leith.

Students are encouraged to seek assistance early in the semester to benefit from all of the resources offered. Resource Center staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to assist walk-in students. The computer lab is open for student use Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, as well as by appointment for groups.
