ISU Professor Cindy Seiger honored at 10-Year celebration of Pocatello Fit and Fall Proof program

POCATELLO – It’s all about “using it or losing it” and one participant said he was able to “skate and ski” with his grandsons because of it. The Pocatello Senior Activity Center’s Fit and Fall Proof program celebrated its 10-year anniversary, Tuesday, Jan 16. Idaho State University’s Cindy Seiger, associate professor of physical therapy, was recognized at event because of her involvement with the program.

POCATELLO – One of the world’s leading experts in stream ecology, University of Montana Professor Robert O. Hall, will deliver the free public lecture “Metabolism of many rivers” as part of the Idaho State University G.W. Minshall Lecture Series Lecture at 4 p.m. Jan. 25 at Idaho State University.

ISU engineering students holding fundraiser Jan. 20 to build 4-wheeled assistive vehicle

POCATELLO – A “Fundraiser for Outdoor Independence” featuring three bands and food to raise funds for Idaho State University students to build an electric adaptive assistive quadra-cycle will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight on Jan. 20 at Portneuf Valley Brewing in Pocatello.
