POCATELLO – At his annual State of the University address Aug. 31, Idaho State University President Arthur C. Vailas said campus improvements, breakthroughs in research and increased recruitment efforts are just a few of the successes ISU has seen this year.
Idaho State University’s Special Collections and Archives now features three new digital collections of images from the period when ISU was the Idaho Technical Institute (1915-1927), the University of Idaho-Southern Branch (1927-1947) and Idaho State College (1927-1963).

POCATELLO – Five governmental officials from Bhutan visited Idaho State University this week as part of the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.

Idaho Museum of Natural History to host "Water/Ways" exhibit Sept. 3 - Oct. 16
Pocatello, Idaho - A Smithsonian traveling exhibition on all things water in America, titled “Water/Ways,” opens Sept. 3 and runs until Oct. 16 at Idaho Museum of Natural History at Idaho State University.
POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s state-of-the-art Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall has received Martin Audio sound system and LED lighting upgrades to the tune of more than $500,000.

Idaho State University Department of Art creates new Digital Lab for students
POCATELLO – Idaho State University’s Department of Art is starting the 2016-17 school year on a good note by opening a digital studio lab for its current art students. The lab will help students receive more modern instruction and technological training in their art degrees.
ISU Career Center Part-time Job and Internship Fair set Aug. 31
POCATELLO – The Idaho State University Career Center will host the Part-time Job and Internship Fair on Aug. 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pond Student Union Ballroom in Pocatello.
POCATELLO – In its 35th year, the Idaho State University Pocatello Pump set Sept. 17 and 18 is the oldest rock climbing competition in the United States.
