Idaho State University will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day with $3 general admission tickets (no limit) and gifts for the first 300 elementary-aged children at the Idaho State Women’s Basketball Game against Eastern Washington University this upcoming Saturday, February 12 starting at 2 p.m. in Reed Gym.

Retired Teacher establishes $20,000 Terry L. and Rita Haggardt Scholarship Endowment

Being a 1966 Idaho State University College of Education alumnus, Rita Haggardt always wanted to stay involved with her alma mater and make a difference in students’ lives. As a way to honor her late husband, Terry L. Haggardt, Rita established an endowment in 2017 in his name and did so on her retired teacher’s salary.
