Important Tasks and Information for Meridian Graduates:

• Apply for Graduation in your MyISU account by Feb 5
• RSVP for the Meridian ceremony by April 5
• Pre-order your regalia package by March 15th! Sooner is better. All graduates who attend Commencement must wear the appropriate regalia.
• Regalia Roadshow (NEW DATES!) -- Purchase and pick up your regalia at ISU-Meridian in RM 681 during the following dates and times:
  • Thursday, April 4th between 1-6 PM
  • Friday, April 5th between 8 AM-1 PM
• Costs for Regalia Packages (Cap, gown, tassel, stole)

    • Tax not included in costs below 
    • Individual pieces are sold separately (see Regalia Pre-Order form for more details)
  • Associate/Bachelor - $94.92
  • Master - $101.92
  • Doctorate with Mortarboard Cap - $126.83
  • Doctorate with Tam - $177.94
• Regalia Instructions:
  • Undergraduate students wear the tassel on the right prior to graduation. Move it to the left after your name has been announced.
  • Graduate students wear the tassel on the left and do not change its position.
  • Graduate students, please bring hood with you to the ceremony.
  • Students keep the regalia.
• Photography/Video
  • There will be a professional photo opportunity for each graduate provided by The Grad Team.
  • The Grad Team will send you proofs and ordering information via email after the ceremony.
  • There will be photo stations with ISU backdrops for you to take pictures with friends and family before or after the ceremony.
  • Commencement will also be live-streamed on ISU's YouTube channel
• Diploma Information
  • Those who attend commencement are presented with a diploma cover as they cross the stage.
  • Be sure to pay your $20 Graduation/Commencement Fee.
  • A final review of degree requirements will be completed before mailing diplomas. After the review is completed and your degree is posted, your diploma will be mailed. This process may take 4-7 weeks after graduation.
  • All diplomas will be mailed to the address indicated on the graduation application.

  • It is the desire of the administration and the faculty of Idaho State University that the ceremony be conducted with courtesy and respect for each of the graduates.
  • The behavior of all graduates is an important element in maintaining a ceremony that should be a memorable occasion.

All faculty are invited to attend commencement.

• Please RSVP here if you plan to attend.
• Faculty should arrive at Idaho Central Arena no later than 5:15 PM.
• Commencement regalia is required.
• Order regalia using this link.
• Order by March 29.
• Regalia must be picked up on May 1st or 2nd from Ali Crane's office at ISU-Meridian Student Services, 1311 E. Central Drive, Meridian, Idaho.
• If a member of your immediate family is graduating, you may request to present the diploma cover at the ceremony.
• You are cordially invited to attend the reception immediately following commencement.

Is there a rehearsal?

Please watch this brief instructional video. There will not be a rehearsal, so we ask graduates to be at the Idaho Central Arena at least 1 hour before showtime. 

How long will commencement last?

Approximately 1½ hours.

Where/When can I pick up my cap and gown? NEW DATES!

Are tickets required?

At this time, tickets are not required for guests.

Yes! The ceremony will be streamed live to ISU's YouTube channel. 

Where do I park?

There is no reserved parking for the commencement ceremony, which will be held at Idaho Central Arena. We recommend arriving early to find parking.
