The Course Reserve Collection contains supplemental reading material that is placed on reserve by professors for their students. These materials may be books, copies of articles from newspapers or periodicals/magazines, copies of book chapters, media items (like sound or video recordings), or files created by the professor (like tests, lecture notes, or solution files). Course Reserve items are found using the Course Reserve in the Library Catalog.
The Course Reserve Collection includes physical items that are checked out for in-library use, as well as electronic files (E-Reserves) that are available 24-hours a day from any computer with an Internet connection. Materials available for in-library use are picked up from the Oboler Library's Reserve Desk - which is part of the main Circulation Desk - or at the Idaho State University-Idaho Falls' Circulation Desk for Idaho Falls Reserves. E-Reserve items are retrieved using the Course Reserve in the Library Catalog.
In all cases the Library is obliged to adhere to current copyright law when making Course Reserve material available to students.
