I keep technology current and streamlined. I work to stay on top of technology trends and avoid vendors that price gouge.
I grew up in Memphis, TN. Moved to Houston, Texas after graduation from U of Memphis. Worked for KPMG, then Rice University. I moved to Missoula, Montana in January 2016 to be CIO at the University of Montana. I found my way to Pocatello in 2020 to be CIO for ISU.
I am an all-around outdoorsman. One of my favorite outdoor activities is hiking with my dogs. One of our favorite hikes is the West Fork trail at Mink Creek. In quieter times, I enjoy playing bridge or reading a good book.

I have an Associate of Applied Science in Comm Electronic Tech degree and a Bachelor of Applied Technology in Applied Technology degree both from Idaho State University.
My number one priority in IT is the students and their ability to receive a quality education. My efforts help guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data that is required to help students receive their education.
Though not originally from Pocatello, I have been blessed to have lived here for the last 30 years.
When not working, you can either find me in the mountains with my dogs or spending time with my daughter and family.

I have two AAS degrees, Language Specialist and Network Specialist. I also have a BS in Human Resources Training and Development.
My passion is making life easier for students, faculty, and staff. Giving access to the tools that they need to succeed in education or work efforts. I love knowing that I'm a part of something bigger and helping shape the future of America through my support of higher education.
I was born and raised in Pocatello. I moved to Boise for a few years after graduating with my associates to work as a database administrator for the Secretary of State. I returned to the University to complete my bachelor's degree and never left.
I am married with two children and a large part of my free time is spent following my kids passions from ballfield to ballfield or wherever they might lead us.

My passion is implementing effective and efficient technologies in higher education. I believe that people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives can achieve remarkable results when united in the pursuit of learning and growth.
I find joy in playing musical instruments, especially the mandolin, guitar, and banjo. I love spending time in the beauty of the outdoors and particularly enjoy playing in the snow. Most of all, I cherish time spent with my amazing wife and children.
