The funds raised by the An Opportuni-Tea event benefit our truly amazing ISU Honors Undergraduate Students.

This event builds funding for the University Honors Program at Idaho State University. Donations directly impact student success by supporting student scholarships, student research, additional UHP programming, seminars, and courses. In essence, funds raised by An Opportuni-Tea provide additional opportunities for hardworking ISU Honors students.

Idaho State University Honors students are an amazing, sedulous group of people. In addition to pursuing their education full-time at ISU, these students participate in leadership, mentoring, and volunteer positions. While all UHP Students share many characteristics – they are all bright, creative, and highly motivated – they come from diverse backgrounds and have diverse needs.  Many UHP students are

  • first generation college students,
  • grew up in rural communities,
  • work their way through college,
  • are student athletes, or
  • need support as they struggle with life’s adversities.

Many Honors students volunteer their time and skills to this annual event.  They participate in the preparation, execution, entertainment, and clean-up of An Opportuni-Tea each year; giving you An Opportuni-Tea to meet and experience ISU Honors students.

The 14th Annual An Opportuni-Tea is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, from noon to 2:30pm in the Event Hall of the ICCU Bengal Alumni Center.  Doors open at 11:30am.
