President | Jaden Palmer
Hello everyone, my name is Jaden Palmer, I am a senior majoring in nuclear and mechanical engineering with a minor in physics. Outside of school, I enjoy fishing, hiking, and spending time with family, friends, and my new puppy! As the UHP club president, I direct club meetings and many of the club's initiatives. I am so excited about all the events planned to make this school year great. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, event ideas, or would just like to chat!
Vice President | Shayla Tran
My name is Shayla Tran, and I serve as the Vice President of the Honors Club. I am currently a sophomore at ISU, pursuing a major in exercise science. Originally from Boise, I enjoy climbing, traveling and spending time with my friends. In my role as Vice President, I oversee the club's activities and also step in for our President, Jaden, in his absence.
Secretary | Chloe Roberts
My name is Chloe Roberts and I am the newly elected UHPC secretary! I am an incoming sophomore majoring in Psychology and planning to apply to the Social Work Program this spring. Outside of school I love to paint, puzzle, and spend time outdoors with my family and friends. As secretary, I will be responsible for ensuring organization and communication within the club, as well as lending a helping hand to the other leaders when needed.
Historian | Amber Olin
My name is Amber Olin and I’m in my third year at ISU! I grew up on the East Coast in Maryland and I’ve lived in Pocatello for 10 years now. I love all things creative, but right now I’m especially into crochet and video games. I’m excited to serve as your Historian this year!
As UHPC Historian, it is my job to keep students informed about the exciting opportunities available to them around campus and through the Honors Program! On our Instagram you can learn about upcoming events hosted by UHPC, SAB, and the greater ISU community. I hope to learn more about each of you and make some awesome memories this year!
Treasurer | Ethan Freeburne
My name is Ethan Freeburne, and I'll be serving as the UHPC Treasurer this year! I'm majoring in Accounting and will graduate in the Spring. Outside of school, I play drums and coach marching band at local schools, and the chances are pretty high that you’ll see (or hear) me tapping and drumming during class.
As treasurer, I'm in charge of budgeting, financial planning, and bookkeeping for the club. It's my job to prepare records and documentation that thoroughly reflect the club's financial standing at any given time. Furthermore, I oversee the club's applications for securing funding from the Student Activities Board so we can have the money to host social, service, and development events.
