Steve Skaggs

Steve Skaggs grew up in Pocatello and graduated from ISU in 1982 having earned a BBA in Accounting. He began his professional career with Deloitte & Touche, retiring in 2006 as the Managing Partner of the firm’s Boise office. For the past ten years Mr. Skaggs has served as the Chief Audit Officer for St. Luke’s Health System.

Skaggs is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Idaho Society of CPA’s, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. An active member of the community, he has served on the board of directors of the Treasure Valley YMCA, Boise School District Education Foundation, FUNDSY, Idaho Chapter of Healthcare Financial Management, and Hillcrest Country Club. He currently serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the ISU College of Business,the YMCA’s Endowment Committee, and the Audit Committee of the State Board of Education.

Skaggs wife, Pam, also graduated from ISU. Given the outstanding education both of them received, they have endowed a scholarship in the ISU College of Business.
