Scholarships

National Fire Protection Association

There will be a minimum of one (each) scholarship awarded per year of at least $5,000 (USD). Monies will be awarded to one or more undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a fire service or public administration program in either the United States or Canada. The application, nominations, applicant's letters, and transcripts must be submitted no later than April 1st each year.

Roy Parker Scholarship

National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Scholarship

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation offers financial assistance for post-secondary education and training to training to spouses, life partners, children and stepchildren of firefighters honored at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial. Children and stepchildren must be under age 30 and have been under age 22 at the time of the firefighter's death. Applications must be received and postmarked by April 1.

International Association of Fire Chiefs Foundation Scholarships

IAFCF Scholarship Announcement. The IAFC Foundation recognizes the increasingly complex world first responders operate in. Science, technology, communications and policy are constantly and rapidly changing and evolving. It's critical that our nation's first responders master the challenges of today and tomorrow. The IAFC Foundation helps ensure that our men and women are fully prepared to meet these challenges by providing increased opportunities to support their educational needs. Awards are up to $4,000. Scholarship application will be available January 1st.

International Association of Arson Investigators Educational Foundation, Inc

  • John Charles Wilson Scholarship

  • Robert Doran Sr. Scholarship

Scholarships are available to college students taking course work related to fire and arson investigation. Courses of study include fire science, law enforcement, forensics, law, fire engineering and other related fields. Applications are due February 15 each year

International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF)

W. H. "Howie" McClennan Scholarship

The W. H. "Howie" McClennan scholarship provides financial assistance for sons, daughters or legally adopted children of fire fighters killed in the line of duty planning to attend a university, accredited college or other institution of higher learning. Application Deadline: February 1, Amount of Scholarship: $2,500/year.
