No problem, no question, and no need is too great or too small for the Dean of Students Office. We want our students to experience success in all areas of their lives at Idaho State University.

The Dean of Students Office is excited to welcome students to our office. We know that going to college can be an exciting but also sometimes stressful experience. There are so many things to learn about the campus, new priorities to juggle, and new experiences challenging students to grow, and a helping hand can make all the difference.  That’s where our office comes in.

We want students to take advantage of the many resources and opportunities that are available on campus, to find their niche, experience new things and new people, to explore their values in a new environment, to participate in their community, and to collect experiences to look back on in the future.

We are committed to helping to remove barriers so that students can be successful both academically and achieve their goals.

We strive to help students continue developing problem-solving and decision-making skills, to learn how to advocate for themselves in ways that lead to constructive resolutions, to navigate difficult conversations and situations with thoughtfulness and integrity, to take responsibility for their actions, and to communicate courteously with other community members.
