Learn the Logistics of Business Flows
Supply chain management involves managing the flow of goods, data, and finances from raw materials to the delivery of a product or service to a customer. It includes all the activities involved in getting products to customers, such as sourcing, design, production, warehousing, shipping, and distribution.
The Supply Chain Management Certificate offers Idaho State students and community members the opportunity to build this understanding through our nine-credit (three course) certificate. Anyone can enroll in the program, whether you are a student at Idaho State or not.
Just Three Courses
Operations and Supply Chain Management
Key concepts include the basic philosophy, strategy, ethics, and analytical techniques important to global operations and supply chain decisions.
Logistics Management
Learn about the role of logistics within supply chain management, modes of transportation, inventory management, warehousing, material handling and packaging management, network design, vehicle routing, order fulfillment and customer relationship management, etc.
Procurement and Supply Management
Understand the role of procurement within supply chain management, procurement and supply management strategies, commodity management, make or buy decisions, supplier selection and management, cost management, contract management and negotiation, global sourcing, etc.
Get Started
The Supply Management Certificate is open to current Idaho State students in any major as well as the public. If you are currently an Idaho State student, the certificate can be added as a secondary curriculum to your major.
