Among the Best Business Schools in the World

The logo of the AACSB

“[The international Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)] provides internationally recognized, specialized accreditation for business and accounting programs at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral level. The AACSB Accreditation Standards challenge post-secondary educators to pursue excellence and continuous improvement throughout their business programs. AACSB Accreditation is known, worldwide, as the longest standing, most recognized form of specialized/professional accreditation an institution and its business programs can earn.” –

As an accredited institution of the AACSB, the College of Business operates under a high set of quality standards for our programs and professors. Each course’s curriculum is regularly reviewed to ensure the continued quality and innovative excellence of our programs.

The College of Business is also one of very few schools in the world to hold accreditation for both our business and accounting programs.

First in Idaho

In 1978, the ISU’s College of Business became the first business school in the state to receive accreditation from the AACSB.

Among the Best

The AACSB accredits less than 5 percent of the 16,000 schools granting business degrees worldwide.

Within the Top 2%

Only 175 schools hold both accounting and business accreditation, ranking ISU’s College of Business in the top 2 percent of business schools in the world.
