Frequently Asked Questions

The Financial Literacy Certificate is open to anyone including all majors at Idaho State University as well as the public.

Although anyone would benefit from gaining more expertise on corporate and personal finances, this program is great for students majoring outside of the College of Business. Engineering, nursing and other healthcare and science majors can utilize this knowledge and add this credential to their skills. Having the ability to manage finances will help in their career, especially if their path takes them into entrepreneurship/product development, or owning and managing a business.

This is also an excellent certificate for employers to add to their employees professional development. These added skills will benefit any business and its employees.

The program is also great for individuals looking to improve their own personal finances.
