M.T. and Jennie H. Deaton Scholarship Endowment

The M.T. and Jennie Deaton Scholarship Endowment for the College of Business was established by Jennie as a memorial to her husband. Jennie and M.T. were longtime residents of Pocatello, where they raised their family. Malden Theodore (M.T.) Deaton grew up in Bancroft, Idaho. In 1917 he founded the M.T. Deaton accounting firm, which continues to provide accounting services. M.T. also received the Idaho State University College of Business Leader of the Year Award in 1959.
