Boyd Hodson Memorial Scholarship Endowment
An Idaho native, Boyd Hodson was an athlete at the University of Idaho Southern Branch. He was later inducted into the Idaho State University Sports Hall of Fame. He and his wife, Fern, had a great love for the university and always lived near campus. Fern taught in the local school district, and Boyd taught at ISC and ISU. As a faculty member for many years in the Department of Business and, later, the College of Business, Boyd taught a wide variety of classes and also served a term as department chair. Boyd served on numerous committees at the university and as faculty advisor to Alpha Kappa Psi. Fern and Boyd established the Boyd Hodson Memorial Scholarship Endowment for students majoring in business.
