Crime and Fire Log

All criminal allegations and student housing facility fires reported to the Department of Public Safety that happened at ISU's Clery-reportable locations are recorded in the Crime and Fire Log. It includes crimes reported at the Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Meridian campuses and fires reported in our Residence Halls and Apartments on the Pocatello campus. 

A hard copy of the Crime and Fire Log containing at least the most recent 60-day period can be requested in person during business hours at the Department of Public Safety offices in Pocatello, Idaho Falls, and Meridian.

Criminal allegations and fires are entered into the log within two business days of the information being reported to the Department of Public Safety. A business day is Monday through Friday, except when ISU is closed for holidays or other scheduled breaks. 

Information may be temporarily withheld from the Crime and Fire Log if it is determined that such release would jeopardize an ongoing investigation, jeopardize the safety of an individual, cause a suspect to flee or evade detection, or result in the destruction of evidence.
