Portable Floor Sentry

The Portable Floor Sentry 450 series fume extractor will be used in Biol 1102L to capture and filter airborne formaldehyde released from our dissection specimens. For more information about the Sentry unit, please read the Operations & Maintenance Manual.

1. Roll cart to student station.
2. Plug in cart to an electrical outlet near the station.
3. Adjust the self-supportive flex arm over the specimen to be dissected (at most 24 inches from top of specimen).
4. Turn on unit.
5. Once the dissection is completed, turn off the unit.
