One of My Favorite Professional Experiences

The experience I had while being a high school automotive instructor of traveling with my students to the national contests were exceptionally enjoyable. One of which is when we were spoiled by Ford Motor Company and AAA Car Care as they entertained, dined, and hosted us at the Ford Hotel in Dear Borne, MI.

Professional Work Experience & Career Highlights

I am a personal product of ISU’s Automotive Technology Program.  I had a blast going through the program and graduated with honors with the Automotive Technology Advanced Technical Certificate.  Following ISU’s Auto Program, I worked locally at Todd’s Automotive and Performance as a full vehicle service technician.  Todd’s trained me well on all makes and models of cars.  As an individual with a great passion for education, I then decided to move into my career as a teacher and coach.  This led me to Viewmont High School in Bountiful, Utah where I taught five years of Automotive Technology and coached Track and Field and Wrestling.  Along my path to get to here at ISU, I have also received an Associate of Arts Degree, an Associate of Applied Science in Automotive Degree, and a Bachelor of Science Degree.  I am also an ASE Master Certified Technician passing all eight automotive area certifications, as well as an additional ASE certification in Maintenance and Light Repair.  I am thrilled to be working with Brock and Dallen who have a deep knowledge base in the field and are easy and fun to work with.  Teaching in this program brings great fulfillment when I can see the students learn and grow and then go out and become successful in the industry.
