"With an honest brush I painted a portrait of myself"
My grandmother was seven months pregnant with my father when she arrived in the United States in 1952, and never saw her family or her home country again.
Clarissa Jackman | Bachelor of Arts in Art | Class of 2019
"I will be forever grateful for my time at ISU and all I learned about pursuing standards of excellence, while simultaneously giving grace and space for the creative process."
John Bybee | BFA in Art | Class of 2021
"Not only did I learn a lot of amazing skills from the faculty, I was given the space and respect to learn and grow as a person and become the best artist and person I could be."
Katie Anne Sharpe | BFA in Art | Class of 2018
"All the professors I had the pleasure of taking classes from took the time I needed to invest in my creative processes. The program uses its size to the student's advantage and offers more media to delve into than many larger departments."
