Scholarships to Launch Your ROAR

Idaho State University has the most Idaho Launch qualifying programs of any Idaho university

What is Idaho LAUNCH?

Idaho LAUNCH grants provide graduating high school seniors with an opportunity to have up to 80% of their tuition and fees covered, up to $8,000, for programs leading to in-demand careers. At Idaho State University, students can choose from a wide range of programs that qualify for an Idaho LAUNCH grant. Here’s what you need to know about the Idaho LAUNCH program:

  • The application window opens on October 3, and interested Idahoans can sign up for notifications
  • There's approximately $75 million available for these grants, potentially benefiting 9,000-10,000 Idaho seniors in 2024. However, since funding is limited, high school seniors or their parents should apply early.
  • Students can apply for Idaho Launch until April 1, 2024.  However, applications received before the priority deadline of November 30, 2023 may be eligible to receive December Contingent Offers.
  • Idaho LAUNCH does not have a GPA or financial need requirement.
  • More than 100 Idaho State University programs qualify for Idaho Launch.

Scholarships at ISU

Students who receive Idaho LAUNCH grants have the option to combine them with other scholarships offered by Idaho State University. They can explore and apply for these additional scholarships through ISU's Bengal Online Scholarship System. This allows students to maximize their financial aid opportunities and support for their education at the university.
