The Student Veterans of America – Idaho State University Chapter is an active and vibrant student organization dedicated to ISU's student veterans. Our mission is to foster a strong community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for patriotism and camaraderie. We focus on enhancing both our campus and local community through various events and initiatives.
As a member, you'll be part of an engaging network of veterans committed to making a difference. Our activities include supporting ISU events, participating in military-related activities, and contributing to community improvement.
Eligibility is open to enrolled student veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces, with non-veteran students welcome as non-voting Auxiliary members.
Throughout the academic year, we dive into a range of impactful service projects, including:
- Homecoming Parade
- Homeless Stand Down – Volunteer Opportunity
- Salute to Service
- Toys for Tots Fundraiser
- Chrome the Dome Fundraiser
- Idaho Field of Heroes – Volunteer Opportunity

We also encourage all veteran members to create a MySVA account on the national Student Veterans of America (SVA) organization's website to stay connected and informed.
