Resource Center

All services offered at the Resource Center are FREE and highly ECOURAGED to maximize your success!

Anyone who has taken a college class knows that the rigors of education can be overwhelming as well as frustrating. Students at the College of Technology (COT) have come to find some peace in the chaos through our Resource Center. The tutors hired here are “Grade A” in their classes. They are a phenomenal resource for struggling students as well as those who seek only a “tune up.” Students may find tutors available for all general education courses, including English, multiple levels of math, communications, and social sciences.

Students may also obtain assistance with program-specific courses. Student success and pride in achievement are the utmost priority. Student needs are recognized and met with enthusiasm. See our walk in tutor schedule below; we offer a variety of subjects with no appointment necessary!

For further information about getting a tutor or becoming one, contact the Resource Center at 282-3208 or email Nichole Lowe-Barnes.

You may also fill out a request form or application:

We also have a FREE computer lab for College of Technology students. You may work on homework, print assignments, and get assistance from our support staff.

Students are encouraged to seek assistance early in the semester to benefit from all of the resources offered. Resource Center staff are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm to assist walk-in students. The computer lab is open for student use Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, as well as by appointment for groups.

See our calendar to view open labs.
