SWOT Student Affairs Participant Request
April 15, 2020
As part of the university's strategic planning process, we are completing Phase 3, which involves the identification of our university-level strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). This information will ultimately be used to help the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) frame the initial draft of what will become our Idaho State University mission, vision, goals and objectives. The end of this phase also includes a request for values input, which will be used to develop our campus values statements.
To ensure an inclusive process, it is important that all members of our campus community share their ideas and perspectives related to our university SWOT and values. Our Student Affairs representative on the SPC, Henry Evans, has conveyed how important it is to him to be able to accurately represent our voices throughout this planning initiative.
While it would have been best to conduct the SWOT exercise in person, it is not possible under our current conditions. However, because it is critically important that the committee receive your input, we are asking all SA staff to take advantage of the online submission process so that our voices can be heard. You can provide your input by clicking on this link: https://isu.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3jup4qL83b8UsT3
In preparation for your completion of the online survey, please review this SWOT Quick Reference document for additional context and guidelines.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Henry directly at 208-282-4223 or by email at evanhenr@isu.edu
