Bengal Family Network (BFN) - Connecting with Bengal Families about What Matters to Them

Our interaction with our Bengals parents and partners is increasing steadily. We established a BFN-dedicated email address to provide a single source of contact for any questions or concerns our Bengals' supporters may have. We are now offering three online BFN town halls each year, complete with English and Spanish captioning and the availability of sign language interpreters. Every town hall includes an open Q&A session with our SA staff--thank you, everyone! We publish monthly newsletters with high-impact information about deadlines for student success, new opportunities and resources, events occurring on campus, and tips for Bengal student supporters. We also distribute mid-month updates focusing on recent developments and imminent deadlines for their students, including FAFSA, scholarship, registration, job opportunities, and more. These efforts to engage with our Bengal families and keep them informed is generating more inquiries to our BFN email, which means we are connecting with more parents and partners about the issues that matter most to them.
