The Associate of Arts Degree in Criminology prepares students for a rewarding position in the Criminology field such as police officer, state trooper, correctional officer, or private security. It also prepares students for the Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with the Area of Emphasis in Criminology. Students completing the Associate of Arts Degree must complete 8 of the 9 General Education Objectives (a minimum of 36 credits) in addition to 28 credits related to the Criminology Program.
In their second semester, students need to choose an advisor in the Criminology Program. This program can be completed fully online!
