The Wind Tunnel Research Laboratory houses a 2 feet diameter 15 hp wind tunnel. The wind tunnel is equipped with a neutrally buoyant particle generator and a variable speed drive.

Research Projects:

• Star Tracker: Development of pattern recognition algorithms, including intelligent based systems, for the use of autonomous attitude determination and control to unmanned space vehicles.
• Active Flow Control, Synthetic Jet Actuators: Derivation of governing equation characterizing zero-net-mass flow jet actuators for flow control over wings. Developing acoustic resonance based excitation.
