The Embedded Systems Research Lab at the MCERC conducts internally and externally funded projects related to the hardware and firmware research on various electrical and computer engineering applications. Ongoing work includes antenna array controls, novel fast adders for sensing, and embedded drone systems. Current faculty members in this area include Dr. Thomas Baldwin, Dr. Steve Chiu, and Dr. Vitit Kantabutra.
