Different Mass/Length Pendulums

This picture shows three pendulums of different masses, but the same length. An easy way of adjusting the lengths of the pendulums is to suspend them over a table top as shown and adjust their lengths until the bobs are just touching the surface. The lengths are approximately 1 meter.These pictures show pendulums of different lengths. One of these is approximately 0.25 meters, another about 0.5 meters and a third about 1.5 meters. In the other picture, a fourth pendulum is shown. This runs the distance from the ceiling to the floor. (Note, the string will stretch. Keep this in mind when adjusting the length of the pendulum.)
