Materials: Ramp, Clam Chowder Soup Can, Chicken Noodle Soup Can, Hollow Metal Wheel, Wood Wheel (Filled)
This demo is to show rotational inertia and how mass location affects the way things roll. When racing the Hollow metal wheel and Filled wood wheel of equal mass the filled wood wheel will win because the mass is focused in the center while the hollow wheel is located on the edges.
The soup cans have a similar explanation except the chunks in the clam chowder doesn't rotate equally like the chicken noodle soup does.
