Materials: a ball, the rotating platform, three large brackets with screws in one end (located with the roto-totter), and the roto-totter apparatus itself.

Two students sit on either end of the apparatus and attempt to play catch with the ball. This demonstration shows how things act differently in the different reference frames.

The close up shows the brackets connecting the roto-totter to the rotating platform more clearly. When setting up the roto-totter be sure that it rotates completely around such that when someone sits on the roto-totter they won't hit anything (such as the chalk tray).
