Pencil Through Wood

Use compressed CO2 to fire a sharpened pencil and an unsharpened pencil through a piece of plywood. Use only a small burst of CO2 and be sure to clamp the apparatus to the table. The unsharpened pencil should punch right through the plywood while the sharpened pencil will become lodged in the wood.
