A fan is mounted onto a PASCO Cart. This fan provides a constant force and thus a constant acceleration. This can be used with the PASCO track and sensor to study a system with a constant acceleration. This demonstration also illustrates Newton's Third Law of Motion. The air that is pushed through the fan creates a reaction force on the cart that causes acceleration.
