This demo represents how cats use the compression of their spine to stabilize their rotation mid air and land on their feet. This can be a fun demo to show to students because many of them believe the myth that cats spin their tails to rotate their bodies when this is not the case. However, this demo is old and can take some practice to be able to properly show off.
