Fur Bits

Materials: Fur Bits, Vandegraff, Roll of Masking Tape

This demo is to show how materials with the same static charge will repel one another. The masking tape roll is placed on top of the vandegraff and the fur bits are placed in the middle clumped. Once the vandegraff is turned on the fur bits hairs will stand then once they have picked up enough charge they will fly off being repelled because they are the same charge as the vandegraff.
