This experiment demonstrates the Bernoulli Effect. Two light bulbs can be pushed together by decreasing the pressure of the atmosphere between them, that is, by blowing a stream of air between them. These bulbs are hung from two strings of equal length attached to a horizontal rod about 10-11 cm apart.
