Pharmacy Day at the Capitol 2019

Interim Dean Chris Owens with Idaho Senator Regina Bayer and student pharmacists in white coats at the annual pharmacy day at the capitol

“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, What are you doing for others?” Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, 2019, we were at the Idaho Capitol for Pharmacy Day, and we couldn’t have been more proud to honor an incredible leader and advocate for our passion at the same time. Student pharmacists were on the 4th floor of the rotunda giving presentations, free flu shots and health screenings to legislators and other capitol visitors.  In addition, members of both the House of Representatives and the Senate welcomed the student pharmacists to the capitol at the beginning of their sessions. Thank you to our Idaho Senators and Representatives for your support of ISU! We always enjoying visiting and working together to make progressive change in our state.
