The Online MBA includes both synchronous and asynchronous courses so students have the opportunity to interact with their peers and professors while still enjoying the benefits of an online program.

Asynchronous Courses

Online courses can be offered in an "asynchronous" format, which means that the courses are prerecorded and available anytime you are ready to access them.

Synchronous Courses

"Synchronous" courses can be completed anywhere online or through distance learning tools, but take place at a scheduled date and time and are always in the evening from 6 - 8:45 p.m.

Affordability

As an online student at Idaho State University, you have the benefit of paying in-state tuition no matter where you are located. Plus, Idaho State University's tuition for the Online MBA program is significantly more affordable than surrounding schools' programs.

Recognized for Quality

In 1978, the Idaho State University College of Business became the first  business school in the state of Idaho to receive accreditation from the  international Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business  (AACSB).

The AACSB represents “the longest serving global association dedicated to  advancing management education worldwide,” and accredits less than five  percent of  schools granting business degrees in the world.  The College of Business’ accounting program is also separately accredited as one of only 189 schools holding both accounting and business accreditation.

Experiential Learning

As an online student, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiential learning opportunities that go beyond the textbook or lectures. From the chance to compete in an intense national business competition to working with real clients to solve business problems, College of Business students learn the content by doing.
