Become a Doctor of Nursing Practice Preceptor
Thank you for your interest in being a preceptor for the Idaho State University School of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program. If you have at least one year of experience as a healthcare provider and you have a passion for educating the next generation of nurse practitioners, then we want you to be our preceptor!
Preceptors can be Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, or Physicians (MDs and DOs). We offer two different options for our Doctor of Nursing Practice program; Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Our clinical needs are listed in the following table:
