Job/Position Title: Dean, School of Nursing (3718)

Primary Purpose: The location of this appointment will be negotiated with the final candidate, at either the Pocatello or Meridian Campus. The Dean is responsible for external and internal leadership and management with the School of Nursing. The Dean is the academic and operational leader of the School and has oversight for strategic planning, budgeting, development, enhancement initiatives, assuring external funding to support growth of the School, faculty development, accreditation and professional standards. The Dean is responsible for day-to-day management of faculty, staff and students, and for creating innovative opportunities to assure the development and progression of student educational experiences. The Dean is expected to enhance scholarship, ensure student satisfaction, provide collaborative leadership to faculty and staff, and promote the School through enhancement of external relationships.

Job/Position Title: Assistant Dean, School of Nursing (3748)

Primary Purpose: The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Strategic Operations plays a key role in support of student success and strategic operations within the School of Nursing (SON) to promote excellence in academic nursing programs. The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Strategic Operations is responsible for administrative and supervisory functions as assigned by the Dean including oversight of academic and student service activities within the School of Nursing, processing of student grievances and student discipline issues, admission, progression, graduation, and alumni activities. The Assistant Dean of Student Affairs and Strategic Operations is a member of the faculty with responsibility for teaching scholarship and service.

Job/Position Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, School of Nursing (3720)

Primary Purpose: To contribute to the teaching, scholarship, and service expectations of a faculty role in the School of Nursing.  The emphasis is on teaching, scholarship and the continued development of the School of Nursing Accelerated program.

Job/Position Title: Adjunct Clinical Faculty, School of Nursing

Primary Purpose: The Adjunct Clinical Faculty member is responsible for providing instruction, supervising, and evaluating student performance in these various clinical settings throughout the state of Idaho. Clinical instruction consists of supervising a group of nursing students completing their clinical rotations in laboratory, hospital, extended care, and/or home health settings.
