Student Veterans

The Idaho State University New Student Orientation Team and Veterans Sanctuary provide resources to student veterans in a unique New Student Orientation program (NSO). Some of these additional resources include:

  1. Small groups that educate student veterans on current issues and challenges they may face while pursuing a degree in higher education.
  2. Connections with the director and staff members of the Veterans Sanctuary who serve both student veterans, dependents, and their families.
  3. A personalized pre-orientation dinner that allows student veterans to connect with campus resources, staff, and fellow student veterans.

Idaho State University values the success of service members/veterans in their pursuit of a college degree because of the knowledge, experience, and ethics they bring to the classroom. Together, the New Student Orientation Team and Veterans Sanctuary wish to welcome you to ISU. New Student Orientation provides the resources, skills, and information student veterans will need to have a successful college career. Come join us for New Student Orientation and let our team guide you through your transition from the military to your future at Idaho State University.

Thank You.
